In 1939 Alex Henshaw challenged the world to beat his record breaking flight from London to Capetown and back again, solo in a single engined 200 hp propeller driven aeroplane.

2009-May-11 a new record was set, 3 Days, 15 Hours and 17 minutes by Charles "Chalkie" Stobbart a fantastic effort, you can see the details of this amazing flight at  http://www.henshaw-challenge.com/dnn/

Well, Henshaw had difficulties too, in his case it was a welding job, for us it is the lack of fuel. So for now we are on hold. More details are on the Blog site (link below). 

The challenge flight is not over by any means, watch this space.....
